Newlands College will be represented by 2 ex-students at the upcoming Commonwealth Games. Phil Burrows will attend his 4th games with the Mens Black Sticks and will be looking to add a Gold to his collection of Bronze and Silver. Meanwhile Jodi Brown will suprisingly be attending her first games as part of the Silver Ferns squad having missed the 2006 games due to injury just prior to the games and then the 2010 games due to being pregnant.
