Brother and sister Mackenzie and Bryn Gates attended the National TSKF (Traditional Shokotan Karate Federation) seminar and competition last weekend. It was run by Takahashi Shihan, 9th Dan Black Belt, from Japan. Mackenzie was 1st in Kumate, 2nd in Kata, for her belt and height, and 2nd in a team Kata. Bryn was 2nd in Kumate, 3rd in Kata, for his belt and height, and 2nd in a team Kata.
