2025 Cricket Registration Form

Kia ora and welcome back to our returning cricketers and a warm welcome to our new year 9 students!

Please fill in the form below if you wish to play Cricket for Newlands College for the 2025 season. Students who sign up will be expected to play in both the Term 1 and Term 4 competitions. This form must be completed no later than Friday 24 January 4pm for students who wish to be considered for our 1st XI Boys team and Tuesday 28 January at 5pm for all other teams.

COST

$180 for full season (for both Terms 1 & Term 4).

Full fee must be paid no later than Friday 31 January.

NB: Please put “Students Name” and “Cricket” in reference.

UNIFORM

1st XI Boys/Girls teams will be provided with a playing top other teams will be required to wear a PE top.

All players will be required to purchase royal blue clads and royal blue cricket trousers from Kilbirnie Sports. Here is the link below for the trousers.

Volunteer Opportunities

The school requires support from families and the local community to ensure the smooth running of the sports programme for your children. Without coaches and officials we will be unable to enter teams into competitions.

Please confirm if you/someone you know has the skills and experience to be able to help the sports programme or is willing to be provided with support to build up the skills and confidence for them to help.

Media Consent

The Newlands College Sport department take regular photos and videos of students during sports tournaments and events. We have our Newlands College Sports Website, Instagram page @newlands_college_sport, Celebration of Sport and other sporting organisations ie: College Sport., YeahGirls! that may require the use of your child's photo/video.

Parent Contact Details Consent

Our code conveners will need to pass on parent/caregiver contact details to our Coaches/Managers for students in their respective teams in order to communicate and relay information about trainings, games etc. Coaches and managers may be parents, staff members or community members. Contact details will be used as a means of communication via email or Whatsapp groups (or equivalent).
