Thursday 19 October saw a full capacity crowd in attendance for the Newlands College Celebration of Sport 2017. The audience were treated to great/questionable music by Mr Milmine, excellent videos by Mr Mortensen and great MCing by Ms Mills. The attendees were fortunate to get to hear from guest speaker, Claire Kersten, Silver Fern #168 about her journey and her plans to give making the Commonwealth Games a real crack as she takes a break from teaching to do so.
