Background

Netball is a strong sport at the college with 13 teams last year and many of them making their grade finals. Games are at the Akau Tangi Sports Centre or Hataitai courts depending on the grade. Our Senior A team won the Premier Reserve 2 grade in 2023, the team have been promoted to the Premier Reserve 1 grade.

In 2024, the number of teams available will be subject to the number of coaches we have as volunteers.

Training

Advised once teams are selected.

Parent Help

We need coaches, managers, umpires. Please let us know on the registration form if you are available to help.

Uniform

PE top, navy or black underwear, Newlands College white ankle socks and clean sports shoes
Netball skirt (provided by the college). PE shorts to be purchased.

Dresses for Senior teams and Junior A side.
