Congratulations to the students that attended Western Zone Athletics in the glorious sunshine. There was some tough competition for our new athletes but good on them for testing themselves and hopefully they will come back next year ready for the challenge.
Notable performances on the day were Ellie Strawbridge (Y12) who took out the Long Jump title and our German import David Braitmaier (Y11) who took out the 100m Hurdles and 400m.
Next Thursday are the Regional Championships so good luck to those attending them.
