The students had a great time running in some challenging and unfamiliar terrain. Our best result was Ben Smedinge (Y9) who was 5th in the Junior Boys.

Congratulations to Matthew Nel (Y10) who has been named in the NZ ‘A’ U15 Indoor Cricket team to play in the World Junior Series in Christchurch during October. Matthew has been down in Christchurch this week for the Inter-Provincials representing Wellington. To see how they went click here

Congratulations to ex-student Marcelle Parkes who this week was given a Black Ferns Contract. Marcelle came through Newlands Intermediate and left Newlands at the end of Y11. Marcelle was involved in lots of sports whilst at the college as shown in this article
