Congratulations go to former Newlands College teacher Claire Kersten who took a break from teaching at the end of last year to pursue her dream of making the Commonwealth Games squad. With the unfortunate withdrawal of Kayla Cullen, Claire was given a last minute call up and last night made her Commonwealth debut v Uganda. Congratulations from everyone at Newlands.
