Fraser McLaren has won silver at the Junior Mens World Softball Champsionship in Canada on Sunday. The Junior Black Sox team lost to Argentina in the final 9-0 having earlier beaten them 3-1 in the play off to gain a bye to the Grand Final. Earlier in pool play Argentina were the only side to have beaten NZ.
This was the first time since 1997 the NZ team had made the final having finished 6th in 2012.
