Jane-Edna Bryce in Year 10 has made the Wellington U18 Women’s rugby side after a stellar first year in senior rugby. She has also been included in the wider training squad for the Wellington Pride senior women’s team but due to her age can’t be selected to play. The U18 team will be playing 3 games, two fixtures against NZ Army women and a third against Horowhenua-Kapiti.
On Saturday 16 August she will be representing Oriental-Rongotai in the final of the senior women’s competition and is currently the 2nd highest try scorer in the competition.
This is a fantastic achievement for such a young woman.
