Our Junior Girls Basketball team are on the cusp of history after beating Naenae 91-43 in their semi final last Tuesday. Having lost by in pool play by only a few points a couple of weeks ago, the girls dominated from the outset and were close to putting 100 points against them. The girls now play in the final tomorrow 6pm at Te Rauparahau Arena against Wellington East. If they win it will be the first time a junior basketball team from Newlands College has won a Junior Premiership.
