Last week 6 athletes attended the Regional Athletics Day having survived the monsoon that was the Western Zone Athletics.
Congratulations go to Tui-Aroha Fransen who finished 5th in the 200m, 3rd in Long Jump and 2nd in the intermediate grade High Jump.
Victoria Green ran really well in both the 200m & 400m Senior Girls Events to finish 2nd in both events to the same athlete. She was pleased with her times and is looking forward to the challenge of taking on the winner of both these events next year.
