The Newlands College Senior Mixed team finished runner up at last weeks Regional Championships. The team won the first 4 games (11-0 v Taita, 2-0 v Paraparaumu, 7-0 v Mana, 6-4 v Wainui) in the 5th round they lost 9-6 to TKW Rua Mano before losing a tight final against the same opponents 5-3. By finishing runners up the team have the opportunity to attend the Central Regional qualifiers for Nationals at the end of the year. Congratulations to the team and Mr Fransen the coach.
