In recent days, 3 Newlands College teachers have been making the news. Claire Kersten looks like she will make it back into the Central Pulse Netball squad for 2016 with the new Coach making some encouraging comments about her pre-season performances so far.
Chris Hueston was part of a Johnsonville Bowls triples team that took out the Central Zone triples crown. 72 teams entered the competition with Chris’s team beating a Lyall Bay team 19-16. Brent Stubbins a permanent reliever at the college was part of the Lyall Bay team which added extra spice to the final!
