On Sunday the 1841 bar played host to Newlands College 3rd quiz night to raise funds for teams attending winter or summer tournament week. This event was by far the best one as the whole of the bottom floor of 1841 was pretty much filled by friends and family who were part of 22 teams involved in the quiz. On the night, the event raised $550 whilst ticket sales would have raised over $2300. Thank you to 1841 and all those that attended on the night; provided donations or spent money on the raffle or quiz games.
