Below is a message from the Newlands Community Centre:
It’s Youth Week from 23 – 31 May, and we are pleased to be able to provide something for our local youth in Newlands to help celebrate this! Blue Light (A registered charity and community policing youth programme) is organising 3-on-3 basketball games and table tennis matches at the Centre on Thursday 28th May, 3 – 5pm.
On this day there will be a free sausage sizzle and spot prizes plus playoffs against the Police team. You will also get a chance to meet Leon Henry – NZ Tall Black and Wgtn Saints basketballer! AND it isn’t just for youth week – but will be on every Thursday 3-5pm for 7 weeks!
