Caitlyn Taniela ended her Newlands College Volleyball career being named as the female volleyballer of the year at the College Sport Wellington Awards held on Sunday November 2. Also finalists on the night were:
Aizaya Anderson – Softball
Aprille Mincher – Athletics
Cathleen Perez – Table Tennis
The overall College Sport male and female sportsperson of the year were TJ Va’a (Scots College, Rugby) and Julieanne Alvarez (Sacred Heart, Golf – winner for the 4th year in a row)
