The Newlands College boys softballers have finished a very credible 4th at last weeks Secondary School Nationals. The team played 11 games as part of a round robin competition. Over the course of the week, Newlands only lost 3 games, 2 of which were against Wellington opposition (St Pats Town and Upper Hutt College) and the other was against Kings High from Dunedin. The team only contained 2 Year 13’s so this bodes well for next years tournament.
